DeWayne Reneer has announced his candidacy for the Henderson County Coroner’s Office.
Reneer is a Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputy, registered nurse with Synchrony Health Services, an American Heart CPR instructor, CDC Infection Control Certified Nurse and a member of the Kentucky Assisted Living executive board.
Previously he was on the Matthew 25 Health Services Board of Directors, an emergency room nurse, an ambulance first responder, a law enforcement detective, a PYSA soccer coach, an ABA basketball coach and an Eagle Scout.
“Qualifications for coroner are important,” Reneer said as part of his campaign material. “I have the experience and technical knowledge to serve Henderson in that capacity.
Reneer is a registered Republican and a member of Zion Baptist Church. He is married to Sherri Reneer.
The filing deadline in Kentucky closes on Jan. 9. The Kentucky Primary election will be held Tuesday, May 19th. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
