Henderson Goodfellows is seeking donations this holiday season.
Once again, the goal is to raise $35,000 to help provide toys and clothes to about 500 local Henderson children this Christmas.
The gifts will be distributed at the annual Goodfellows Christmas party which will be held on Sunday, Dec. 21st at South Middle School. Doors will open at noon.
Volunteers are also needed for boxing day from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 20th at South Middle School.
Goodfellows donations may be mailed to the Henderson Municipal Building at P.O. Box 716, Henderson, KY 42420.
Checks addressed to Henderson Goodfellows may also be dropped off at the Municipal Center during business hours. The Municipal Center is located at 222 First Street in Downtown Henderson.

The City of Henderson will be tabulating how many donations come in and WSON will read the donations aloud on air and publish that information on WSON’s website and social media.

- Cairo United Methodist Church donated $500.
- Sandra S. Patton donated $50.
- Anonymous donated $20.
- Jay and Nanette Beard donated $100.
- Sterling and Margaret Homes donated $50.
- Elaine Benson donated $50 in memory of Pascal Benson.
- Edward and Julie Dodson donated $25 in memory of Ralph and Gloria Garner.
- James and Debbie Barron donated $75.
- Charles McCollom III and Deborah McCollom donated $200.
- Ida Marie Block donated $25.
- Cecelia, Carole, Claudia and Cathy donated $100 in memory of Cecil and Clara King.
- Judson C. Royster donated $100.
- Gene Milton donated $250 in memory of Barney and Blanche Melton.
- Total Raised as of Dec. 16th: $16,450.
