Evansville Police Department said an investigation is underway following a suspicious death.
Officers were dispatched Wednesday to the 2500 block of Lodge Avenue in reference to a sensitive incident run. The 911 caller reported there was a female who was being assaulted, and a male was now unresponsive.
Officers arrived and located an elderly male who was deceased. Two people were transported to EPD Headquarters for questioning. This investigation is ongoing at this time.
