HENDERSON, KY, May 11, 2026– The City of Henderson will begin paving streets on Wednesday, May 13.
Paving work is expected to continue through Friday, May 15.
Temporary closures and/or delays may occur during construction. It may be best to avoid these streets where possible.
Residents are asked to have all vehicles moved from the street by 6 a.m. each day until the work is completed.
If road closures are required, detours will be set up. There will be flaggers and/or signs to direct traffic during construction.
The following streets are included in the paving schedule:
- Norris Lane
- South Elm Street
- South Alves Street
- Clay Street (Alvasia to Alves)
- Clay Street (Alvasia to Meadow)
- Dr MLK Ave
- Letcher and Powell Intersection
- South Alvasia Street (Vine to Washington)
- Washington Street (823 Washington to Green Street)
