Henderson County High School released a statement Wednesday afternoon to parents that they are aware of misconduct allegations related to a staff member.
School officials said the school takes all matters seriously that impact the learning and safety of students.
In cooperation with the Henderson Police Department, school officials said this incident is under investigation. Officials added that all personnel matters are addressed according to district policy.
In a follow up message sent Thursday, the district said, “ we’ve heard concerns from our parents and want to assure you that when the report was received the staff member was removed from the high school and reported to Henderson Police Department. As this incident remains under investigation with the Henderson Police Department, no additional information can be shared.”
