Rebecca “Becky” Gardner, age 68, of Richmond, KY, passed away at 1:08 P.M., Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at University of Kentucky Hospital.
Becky loved Jesus, she loved her church and she loved her family. She attended Finley Baptist Church and enjoyed an active membership there going to Sunday School, helping serve and cook meals, and loving the children at Vacation Bible School. Family was everything to Becky. She loved family gatherings; reunions, birthdays, and holidays brought her the most joy.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents Curtis and Ervil Inell Moore, and brother Floyd Moore.
Becky is survived by her husband of 30 years, Bill Gardner; daughters Kimberly Gay of Henderson, KY and Malia Gardner-Cook (Louis) of Winchester, KY; sons Wes Bentley (Deena) of Henderson, KY and Jeff Bentley of Sacramento, CA; sisters: Ervil Coots of Louisville, KY, Ruth Kitchens (Jerry) of Louisville, KY and Joann Kuhlenschmidt (Rodney) of Corydon, KY; brothers Curtis “Bub” Moore (Janice) of Crawford Co., IN, and Charles Moore (Amy) of Newburgh, IN; and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Becky’s Life Celebration from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday and again on Saturday starting at 9:00 A.M. at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home in Henderson, KY. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the funeral home with the Reverend David Mabrey officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Henderson, Kentucky.
