Henderson County Water District said some customers lost service Tuesday following a water main break on Kentucky 1078.
During the replacement of a culvert, a water main was damaged. Crews were on site Tuesday afternoon making emergency repairs.
The customers affected are from 12682 to 12901 South Negley Road. 14051 to 14089 Tom Smith Road and 13305 to 16010 Kentucky 1078-S.
A boil water advisory for these customers has been issued as a precautionary measure.
These customers are advised to boil all water used for human consumption at a rolling boil for 3-5 minutes. Samples will be collected as soon as possible. The advisory will be in effect for as long as necessary dependent upon satisfactory bacteriological results.
Please flush cold water taps for a few minutes to flush any air or discolored water.
