Henderson Lions Club is distributing more than $80,000 dollars in grants to local nonprofit organizations at two of their weekly club meetings in July.
Some grants were handed out at the July 14th meeting, while others will be handed out at the July 28th meeting.

Henderson Lions raised the grant money through its annual community activities: The annual live one-night auction, sale of lemon shakeups at the Tri-Fest, an annual golf scramble and the Lions Arts and Crafts Festival at Audubon State Park.
The Lions hold their meetings from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the community room in the Henderson County Public Library.
