HENDERSON, KY, August 18, 2026 – The City of Henderson will begin a scheduled milling and paving project on select city streets the week of August 24, 2026.
The project is expected to take approximately 2 to 3 weeks to complete, weather permitting, according to a news release.
The work is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve local roadways. During the project, residents and motorists may experience temporary street closures and traffic delays as crews move through the work areas.
Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes when possible and to exercise caution around construction crews and equipment.
Residents in areas scheduled for work should be aware that all vehicles must be removed from the street by 6:00 a.m. each day crews are scheduled to work in the area. To help crews complete the work safely and efficiently, vehicles remaining on the street may be relocated nearby, such as around the corner or outside the immediate work area.
The following streets and areas are currently scheduled for milling and paving:
- Argyll Way from Dundee Drive to Bannockburn Drive
- Hilmont Drive from Wathen Lane to Breezeport Court
- Larkview Drive from Green River Road to the end of the street
- Green River Road from Watson Lane to Sinclair Avenue
- Green River Road from Sinclair Avenue to Whettstone Street
- Green River Road from Whettstone Street to U.S. 60 East
- Watson Lane from U.S. 60 East to Green River Road
- Watson Lane from Green River Road to 620 Watson Lane
- Municipal Course parking lot
