The City of Henderson is hosting a public forum at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 13 a to provide City residents the opportunity to share their thoughts, suggestions, or concerns regarding the use of Automated License Plate Readers in our community. The forum will take place at the Municipal Services Center located at 1449 Corporate Court.
City residents who would like to address the Board of Commissioners during the forum will sign up to speak that evening. The first 20 City residents in support of Automated License Plate Readers will be given an opportunity to speak and the first 20 City residents in opposition will also be given a chance to address the Commission.
If there are City residents who are unable to join the forum on October 13, city officials have created a form where they have the opportunity to share their opinions. It is located on the City’s social media sites and website and at this link https://bit.ly/AutomatedLicensePlateReaders
The form will be available beginning through November 13 at 5PM. After that time, responses through the form will no longer be collected.
The City encourages our residents to participate and share their perspectives with the Board of Commissioners.
