HENDERSON, Ky. (Sept. 23, 2026) – One lane of the southbound twin bridge will be blocked on Monday for an inspection.
A Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractor plans to do a one-day inspection of the southbound U.S. 41 Twin Bridge in Henderson during off-peak hours between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday.
Crews will block one lane of the southbound bridge to allow inspectors to access the bridge’s substructure for additional work needed to finalize inspection reports and prepare for upcoming repairs.
Temporary repairs were made to rocker bearings under the bridge in late August so the roadway could fully reopen, with permanent repairs scheduled for later this year once the needed materials can be fabricated.
