EVANSVILLE, Ind (Oct. 1) – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Ascension St. Vincent Evansville Breast Center is bringing vital breast health services directly into local communities with its Mobile Mammography Bus. Equipped with state-of-the-art 3D screening technology, the mobile unit provides the exact same high-quality care offered in fixed clinic settings, but far closer and more convenient for women across the region.

Regular screening mammograms remain the single most effective tool for early breast cancer detection, allowing healthcare providers to identify potential concerns early when treatment outcomes are most successful. By bringing advanced imaging straight to community stops, the Mobile Mammography Bus removes traditional barriers to healthcare—such as travel time and limited scheduling options—ensuring women in the area can easily prioritize their wellness and stay proactive about their health.

To ensure financial hardship does not stand in the way of essential health screenings, grants are available for those who qualify.
