Why are you running for office?  I decided to run for County Magistrate after I attended several meetings in which my neighbors and I had voiced our concerns and opinions about a local issue. We all felt that our voices were being ignored and that our local government was not being responsive to its citizens.

If elected to office, what would be your top three goals?

  1. Advocating for our agricultural heritage.
  2. Promoting a promising future for our youth.
  3. Keeping our natural spaces safe.

Why should people vote for you?

I believe that people should vote for me because just like many of the constituents in District 3 I am a hard-working-class mother. I have worked hard to earn every single thing that I have obtained throughout my life. I know what it is like to be raised here, go to school here, go off to college, and return here to find a job and create a family. I want to ensure that Henderson is the type of place that our students want to return back home to. That our community attracts and offers the next generation opportunities that are not just beneficial to a few but make our community as a whole better.  I want the citizens of Henderson to know they have a voice in their government and that their elected officials do hear them, and work for their interest.
